Carnegie

Carnegie

He was a “little man” as they say. I cannot tell with authority, as I am not a midget, dwarf, etc...or, any of the other offensive names for these smaller people.
But, Carnegie, the circus dwarf, was by far, the most intelligent of the bunch of circus enlistments that inhabited, Captain Verne’s circus tent. The time of his visit was drawing to an auspicious close.
Carnegie trimmed the elephant's nails. They were silent walkers in the jungle, but in captivity, their nails grew long because of inactivity. Kings outside their cages, here, they withered, and only their magnificent spirits kept hearts beating.
Carnegie walked the tops of the ferris wheel when it stopped its turn in the dead of night. He stood atop the uppermost bucket and imagined himself the tallest creature in the universe. He could see the lights of surrounding towns winking in the pitch, a show just for him.
Carnegie came to this planet aboard a lightship from a distant star. The star had no name, or, none that Carnegie knew of. Names were not important, his own was chosen by him for this study visit. He discovered earth on his travel sector. He picked it because of the inhabitants, the humans in particular. They were easy to gather. The circus was great entertainment for Carnegie. He enjoyed assembling the animals and caring for them, and the various antique “rides,”  were a fantastic way of studying the human being.
Captain Verne, whom this circus was named for, or after, was not a living human being. Carnegie had pondered the ridiculous idea that a member of the military would have ever considered such an undertaking. But then, such was the fabric of this sub-society.
Carnegie himself had been taunted and called strange, unfamiliar names. He was mildly confused at times, but always considered the source from where this commentary would emerge. Animals are identified by certain types of sounds that they use to communicate. Humans have the capabilities to use many more forms, but choose instead, to open their mouths before mental processes have begun to make intelligent decisions.
Therefore, Carnegie had decided long ago, shortly after he’d arrived on this planet, that most humans operate on many levels below that of most animals.
Animals had to be captured and chained or tethered in some manner before they could be entered into the circus for display. The circus and all that surrounded it was unnatural for these animals. Human beings however, kept close watch on one another, and mimicked each others thought and speech patterns.
They needed external entertainment in order to maintain some form of composure. They consumed many types of processed refuse that was packaged in brightly colored cellophanes.
When Carnegie tended the animals, their spirits would communicate with him in lower dimensions. The animals were always sympathetic toward the misguided humans. They knew that soon humans would experience their own connection within the realm of truth. The humans would not understand it at first. They would form their own types of herds and communicate mindless chatter toward one another, even blaming each other for their enlightened consciousness. They would be fearful and even ask if it would be possible to be put back in the cages of their former selves. They did not enjoy change, it made them consume more negative energies. But, that was and is, the purpose for Carnegie’s visit to this planet. To study the change that was beginning to take place within the human animal. The humans, one by one, were beginning to understand that they were existing within their own type of circus, or worse yet, their own prison without walls. It was just not understood by them that this existence was only being accomplished because their population allowed it. They thought they were free to move about and do as they pleased. They were completely unaware of the extreme control they were under.
The animals were always prepared to escape, and there was the need to keep them chained and caged. Humans on the other hand, were quite easy to control, they simply did as they were told and followed each other. They never questioned their handlers, asked intelligent questions, or got angry for the right reasons.
Carnegie came from a star where all were like him in physical height. But, they were giants beyond human comprehension, in the element of consciousness. There were no need for laws or military invasions. Disagreements were settled in transfers of ideas that benefited all concerned. Taking of life was unheard of.
Technologies served the natural resources that were born along with his star.
Carnegie stood there in the night atop the mechanical steel wheel and he wondered how long the revolution within the human mind would take. How long would populations around the world take to leave the shackles of their keepers?
He stepped off the edge of the painted bucket seat into the night air and the ground rushed up to meet him. But before it could, Carnegie found himself back on his star, his report packed away inside his mind and ready to download for the other’s perusal.
Earth was a unique jewel within its universe. The humans had not yet understood what they inhabited, or what their physical capabilities were. They simply existed, some of them not as driven as certain types of protozoa Carnegie had studied.
The circus was a fascinating parallel to the actual existence of life outside it, considered Carnegie.
One Month Later (our time)
After a compilation of similar findings was studied by Carnegie and his fellow Starians, it was decided there would be no intervention. The animals had not wanted it, and the humans would not understand it at this juncture in their time. Instead, an “Earth seed” was planted inside sample soil obtained during Carnegie’s study on the planet. It was the hope of the Starians that the vibrational qualities of the ensuing growth of the Earth seed would match that of the collective human consciousness. In time, they might awaken as the ocean of power they currently had no idea they possessed. And, if during that event, Starian assistance were needed, it would be swift and comprehensive in all elements.
As of this report period, the Earth plant is healthy and very green, although its growth is comparatively slow to others of its type. All this means is that the human species is stubborn behind its current antiquated system of existence. Lucky for them, their future is inevitable, whichever path they awaken to.

This is a picture of the Ferris Wheel at the 1893 Chicago World Fair. Wow, I had no idea it was so big. Notice that where a typical ride would have a two person seat, this one has what looks like a small room.
